Orkut!Orkut! Go away.

Orkut had eaten into the majority of my internet browsing time and i had to do something soon to avoid Orkut becoming the one and only point in my internet history sidebar. And cos of that little effort you are reading this, because as a result i was suddenly into blogging. And i am lovin it, may be because i was too fed up with orkut(or to obsessed). Still it isnt nothing like that i want to get rid off Orkut completely, it wouldnt have been possible without Orkut to get all those old friends back. Its only that i want to reduce the time that i'm killing wandering through those profiles and communities.

And another source that i found useful for this task was del.icio.us. I was aware of this delicious thing a lot earlier, but Orkutmania somehow dragged me away from this. And when i tried to step out of the Orkut world, the first thing i stumbled upon (not stumble upon) was del.icio.us and rightly so because it was the most happening place in the internet when it came to finding new and happening things on the internet, which was exactly what the doctor had ordered for me.

And i have already found many interesting del.icio.us marks which were damn cool. One standout thing i found out was Thickbox 3.

ThickBox is a webpage UI dialog widget written in JavaScript on top of the jQuery library. Its function is to show a single image, multiple images, inline content, iframed content, or content served through AJAX in a hybrid modal.

Thats how it defines itself.

A must visit for all web designing folks out there.

I will be roaming the net(read del.icio.us) for more things like Tb3, meanwhile you can visit my delicious markings through the link i've provided on the left side of this page.
