hisam

If i remember right, i started to hear that term (hisam) some 20 years back along with some other common terms. I heard that word so commonly that i soon started turning my head when i heard that word. Not before long i realised that they had named me hisam.... and i was supposed to respond when they called me that name. And all these years i have been doing exactly that.

The reason for me to get nostalgic about my own name now is Google. Yes you heard it right. My all time favourite google just returned my blog hisamonomics as the first result(from a pile of 130000 other results) for the search term "hisam". Click hisam to see it.( it might or might not go down later) .

Now,What is the big fuss about it??

No fuss, but if you can see through it.... this post is just another twisted search engine optimistaion(seo) to cement hisamonomics on the top for the search term hisam.

If you still cant see through it....... then just do a HOMERUN(defn:run as fast as you can to your home so that you reach your home as soon as possible).... i jus heard your mammaa calling you loud !! ;-)

Pagerank getting me obsessed.

Ever since i chose Google Pagerank as my Seminar Topic, i'm somehow getting very close to it, or even call it obsession. And the latest development being my blog getting a PR1(Pagerank 1) and as a result it getting approved by Smorty(a site which pays you for posting Ads on your blog). And as of now i have got 5 Ad posts in total from Smorty and got them all approved, and as a result some dollar is waiting to hit my Paypal account.

What all these fuss has done is that it has got few of my friends interested in this sorta stuff (now who wouldnt when you can earn some goooooooood money). So i'm posting some tips that i came across or might have even tried while in pursuit for a PR for my blog.


+ One basic and obvious thing to do is get as many links to your blog/site from as many blog/site. You can do this manually by asking your friends to link from their blogs and by returning this favour. Services like Blogrolling should be utilised to its most.
And one service which is going to be the one stop for improving any site/blog PR is under development, Now guess who is the developer ;-).

+ I dont know if this tip actually works, just found it now and i havent tried it as of now. But nonetheless seems interesting >>

Make at least three pages on your site and link them as follows:
Page 1 >>>>>> Page 2
Page 2 >>>>>> Page 3
And this is the kicker
Page 3 >>>>>> Page 1

Google will give points to page 2 from page 1, then to page 3 from page 2, and then - if you link it back to page 1 - it starts all over again. I can't even count how many points this will end up giving you. Just don't abuse it too much - or the big sites will complain you are taking too much PR from them.


+ Google has got secrets and i dont know them simply because it is secrets, but i can have guesses and here is one >>>>>

Make sure you include at least one link to Google. They need quality traffic as well. Don't be greedy and hog it all to yourself. This can do wonders for your pages. Remember - Google may be going public soon - so the more traffic you send them the better.


+ Try to repeat the keyword as much times as possible and as much close to each other. This certainly improves your blog/site position for that particular keyword search if not your Pagerank.


These are some of the things that come to my mind now and when new ones come to my mind, i may or may not post it. It all depends on my MOOOOOOOOD.It seems i've got great Mooooood Swings according to a very believable source.

And what better time to start a tag of its own for Pagerank (since its getting hisamonomics engaged more often these days). let it be "PageRank".

Finally a Pagerank of 1...

And when i had finally lost hope of a pagerank for my blog....... Phew here comes a PR1 for my blog. Yup!! i just found that small green colour creeping out of its White mother on my Firefox status bar and then confirmed it on http://google-pagerank.atakmim.com/index.php which i think is the only site that gives you the right Google PR. And as a result you are supposed to see a green arrow indicating my pagerank just below the header of the blog. For folks wonderin what Google PR is all about.....

Answer: You will have a better position at the google search results....... for instance the search term hisamo
returns my blog as the first result and hisam also return my blog as one of the results in the first page of the search result. Gotchaaa??

Google PageRank!!

That is one term dominating my browser's history, not because that i'm suddenly keen to know how it actually works, but its cos i happened to choose it as my Seminar topic. That doesnt mean i'm uninterested in the topic and i'm doin it 4 d damnnn sake of d seminar, anything related to Google have always fascinated me . So it is some kinda relief that i've chosen a topic that interests me. For folks wondering what the term actually means, here s some respite..............

I had an idea what the term actually meant and was pretty confident abt that. That was untill i actually Googled the term, as i expected so many results popped up explaining me what the term meant, and therein exactly lies my problem. Google returned so many seemingly genuine materials for my topic that i was overwhelmed or rather i was felled by confusion, i cached whatever seemed genuine to me and the end results is that i've gone thru toooo much stuff on that topic. As a result, my mind is full f queries i'm sure the teachers bak @ my coll. wont bother me on. I think i will do gud if i go for 1 or 2 genuine source rather than get crazy on many f em.

Yes i think i will do that!!!!!!!

I think i will post the entire Seminar stuff ( nd if possible a snap of mine takin it ;-) ) once i'm done wit it.
